If you are an intermediate or advanced guitar player you can take huge advantage of this video that, even though is not a conventional guitar lesson, gives you the chance to watch closely the technics and style of one of the best guitar players of all time. I wish it lasted more, i could never get tired of it.
Ok
It's always fun to see these legends in a relaxed setting chatting about their playing styles and the histoy behind how they evovled. Here we see George at home very relaxed. The issue I have with most of these courses is the artists play so fast that it's extremely difficult to follow. The accomanying PDF help somewhat, but the one for George looks to be photo copied and the lessons don't match the annonations in the video. I've purchased four of thse courses, and apart from Buddy Guy, I'm unable to get much benefit from them apart from enjoying their playing.
George is the living legend who connects to all the greats like Wes who have paved the way. To me, he takes Wes and modernizes him for the 20th Century.
His energy, positivity and incredible chops are just totally inspiring.
